All my flower paintings are composed like an abstract image aiming to produce an emotion. I try to ignore its physical meaning of the subject and focus on the interaction happening between the light effects, the tonal values, the colours, shape, and angles as well as the tactile feeling proposed by the texture of the brushwork.
