My love for the natural elements often takes me back to paint water. The proximity to the Pacific Ocean from here in Queensland Australia, gives me an infinite source of subjects for my compositions. My intention in painting any realist subject is to recreate the emotion I had when being on site, in the moment. This dynamic composition in zig-zag diagonals recreates the illusion of movement. The transparency of the oil colours and medium also add to the magic.
